Kiev City Center
Independence Square: Kiev's central square located on Khreschatyk Street. Called Maidan by locals (which literally means square in Ukrainian), it has been the center of several political protests including the 2004 Orange Revolution, when hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians gathered to protest alleged electoral fraud from the presidential election.
Khreschatyk Street: Khreschatyk Ulitsa is the main street of Ukraine's capital city.
Besarabsky Market: Located on the south-west end of Khreshchatyk Street, Besarabsky Market is a popular indoor market built from 1910-1912.
