Moldova Visa Support
Step 1: Do you need a Moldova visa? If so, obtain a Moldova visa invitation.
Citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan the U.S., Canada, Israel, countries of the EU, Japan, Switzerland, Norway and candidate states to join the EU (Croatia and Turkey), do not require an entry visa for a stay in Moldova up to 90 days. For longer stays, or for citizens of other countries, follow the link to obtain a Moldova invitation.
Step 2: If a visa is required, complete a visa application.
The second step requires that you complete a visa application form and submit it with your invitation, passport-size photo, and the original copy of your passport to the nearest Moldova consulate.
a. Open or download a Moldova visa application (pdf file). In order to download for later use, simply right click and select "Save Target As..."
b. Print, complete and sign the application form.
c. Now located the nearest Moldova consulate or embassy and contact them to inquire about application fees and requirements.
d. Submit the Moldova visa application along with your invitation, visa application fees, passport-size photo and original copy of your passport to the nearest Moldova consulate.
Step 3: Moldova Visa Registration
In Moldova, you have 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to register your visa. Moldova visas can be registered at the OVIR office (Office of Visa and Registration). Location of OVIR depends on where you are staying in Moldova, but can often be found at the district police station.
