Uzbekistan Visa Support

Step 1: Do you need an Uzbekistan visa invitation? If so, obtain a letter of invitation from a certified travel agency.

Citizens of Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, the U.K., Italy, Japan, Spain, and Switzerland may obtain a 1 month tourist visa or a one year business visa without an official invitation. For all other nationalities or for visas of a longer duration, visa invitations are required. Follow the link to apply for your Uzbekistan visa invitation.

Step 2: Complete an Uzbekistan visa application form.

The second step requires that you complete the appropriate visa application form and submit it with your invitation, passport-size photo, and the original copy of your passport to the nearest Uzbekistan consulate.

a. Open or download a Uzbekistan visa application (pdf file). In order to download for later use, simply right click and select "Save Target As..."

b. Print, complete and sign the application form.

c. Now visit the the Consular Services for the Republic of Uzbekistan to learn about visa fees and requirements. To locate the nearest Uzbek consulate in your area check out this directory of Uzbek Embassies. Another useful tool for locating embassies and consulates can be found at www.embassyworld.com.

d. Submit the Uzbekistan visa application along with your invitation, visa application fees, passport-size photo and original copy of your passport to the nearest Uzbekistan consulate.

Step 3: Uzbekistan Visa Registration

In Uzbekistan, you have 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) to register your visa with OEEC (the Office of Entry, Exit and Citizenship). Hotel guests are automatically registered, but all other travelers are responsible for registering themselves.
